Will grew up in Albuquerque and realized early on he never wanted to leave the state. Will spent his early career as an AmeriCorps VISTA in Chama, NM driving across Rio Arriba County to develop community wildfire protection plans and, working with landowners and partners, implement forest treatments, wildlife habitat and riparian restoration projects. He has spent the past five years as an environmental consultant working on a wide range of projects related to biomass utilization, energy, economic development and ecosystem services.

Will holds bachelor’s degree in Environmental Planning and Design from the University of New Mexico. He has a passion for photography, driving dirt roads and is trying his hand again at gardening. As NMLC’s Stewardship Manager Will is honored to be once again working directly in the places and communities of his home.
