The State and Fate of our Mountain Forests
in New Mexico and the West

New Mexico Land Conservancy hosted its first speaker event on January 28, 2020, to a full house – thanks to our presenter that night, place-based ecologist, Dr. Craig Allen, who dedicated an evening to addressing the past, present and future of our mountain forests, based on decades of scientific research, conducted mainly in the Jemez Mountains. Dr. Allen generously allowed us to share a video of the event, which includes an introduction by NMLC Executive Director, Scott Wilber, and ends with an interesting Q&A session.
