Conservation Stewardship Intern 2024

NMLC is seeking an organized, team-oriented, independent and self-motivated individual with experience working in the field to assist our Stewardship Manager and help monitor NMLC’s conservation easements located throughout New Mexico and portions of southeastern Arizona. This is a great opportunity to explore the Southwest while gaining experience in the field of conservation.

Job requirements include a Bachelor’s degree (or in progress) in a related field; current driver’s license and clean driving record; ability to work in the field, including hiking over rough terrain in inclement weather (heat, rain, wind, snow); operate a four-wheel drive vehicle off-road; strong computer skills; and experience with GPS (ArcGIS preferred).
