Megan grew up in Michigan, where her love of nature began while spending summers camping on Lake Michigan. She visited New Mexico 29 years ago and after realizing the profound beauty of the place and people here, decided to make it her home. With over 15 years of non-profit administrative experience, she brings her in-depth knowledge in finance and operations to NMLC, creating a harmonious foundation from which the organization can thrive.

Megan is a passionate environmentalist and animal lover and loves to get out and enjoy the people and landscape of New Mexico. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, is a licensed massage therapist and an established silver jeweler. Megan has two younger Golder Retrievers who she raised from puppies and loves to get out on the trails with them.
