Robyn has always felt most at home outdoors. Originally from the Midwest, she grew up spending long summer days swimming, exploring, and finding connection in the natural world. Her path to conservation took shape while living in Northern California, where backcountry backpacking, drought and wildfire, and hands-on restoration work sparked a commitment to protecting the environment and communities most affected by climate change. After traveling to 48 states and living across the country, she felt continually drawn to the Southwest, and she is thrilled to now call New Mexico home.

Robyn brings more than a decade of experience in operations, systems building, and people-centered leadership from the specialty coffee industry, where she served as Director of Operations for a global importer and worked closely with producers in sustainable supply chains. She holds a B.A. in Psychology and has a background in the arts, and is known for bringing clarity to complexity, aligning people and processes, and cultivating strong relationships across teams and stakeholders.

A lifelong learner with a passion for restoration, Robyn volunteers for conservation projects wherever she goes, including her most memorable experience with the Salamander Brigade in New Hampshire, helping spotted salamanders, spring peepers, and wood frogs cross the road during their annual migration. She recently completed a water harvesting and design certification in Tucson and is excited to support NMLC’s mission of protecting the lands of the Southwest.
