Otro Lado
Otro Lado is situated along the Rio de las Trampas, surrounded by the Carson National Forest, near the traditional agricultural village of El Valle in northern New Mexico. The property consists of relatively natural habitat, the protection of which will buffer against increased residential developing taking place in the rural villages along the “High Road to Taos.” Irrigated acreage and water rights associated with the property serve as a valuable agricultural resource representing historic and traditional acequia culture which has been in practice since the late 1600s.
