Porter Tract
The Porter Tract is situated on the flank of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains outside Tesuque Village. The property’s upper elevations consist of mixed stands of piñon-juniper and associated wildlife including mule deer, elk and coyote. The property is unique in that, in addition to intact forests, the land boasts highly productive agricultural soils and associated water rights used for cultivation of hay, orchards and other agricultural activities. The Porter Tract represents the quintessential New Mexico landscape, irrigated bottomlands under a deciduous canopy, flanked by native forested ecosystems.
