Ranchos del Rito
Located about 15 miles southeast of Pecos, NM, this 2,500-acre easement is part of a larger property, bordered to the north by the Santa Fe National Forest, to the northwest by BLM land, and to the northeast by another conservation easement held by NMLC (Creeky Springs).
Set in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, the property consists of piñon-juniper woodland with small pockets of ponderosa pine and large swaths of grassland – mostly blue grama. The property is managed for cattle grazing, recreation and wildlife habitat. There are no structures onsite.
